One of the biggest internal battles I had when deciding to become a Virtual Assistant was whether working from home would be better than coming into London every day.
London is one of the finest cities in the world – so culturally diverse and such an inspiring and exciting city to work in. Surely, I was going to miss it dearly?
And I do, but it has to be said that working from home is highly beneficial to myself and my clients.
Ditching the long commute means that I now have more energy and vigour than ever before. I can put all of my energy into ensuring that my client’s work is completed to the highest standard. I’ve effectively claimed back 3-4 hours of my day meaning that I have a much better work-life balance. And it’s true what they say – a happy worker, is a productive worker!
Working from home isn’t for everyone, but for me, having my own quiet office where I can really knuckle down and focus on my work is fantastic. No distractions, and a peaceful environment to work in ensures that my work is completed efficiently and accurately.
Plus, there’s only me in the tea round now which means I get the perfect cuppa every time.
So, if you’re thinking about hiring a Virtual Assistant, it’s worth remembering these points. These perfect working conditions are conducive to ensuring that assignments are always completed to the uppermost standard – making life a little bit easier and less stressful for you.
